Position: Manufacturing / Production Engineer / Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing/production equipment and machinery.

• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines on the shop floor.

• Perform assembly, machining, welding, painting, or testing operations depending on assigned department.

• Maintain quality standards by conducting inspections and addressing deviations.

• Support continuous improvement (Kaizen, Lean, TPM, Six Sigma initiatives).

• Ensure minimal downtime of machines through preventive maintenance coordination.

• Work with cross-functional teams (Design, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics) to resolve production issues.

• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

• Maintain accurate documentation of production records, reports, and shift logs.

Key Skills Required:

• Knowledge of automotive/automobile manufacturing processes.

• Hands-on experience with machines, CNC/PLC systems (for engineers/technicians).

• Good understanding of quality systems (ISO/TS 16949, IATF).

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

• Team player with good communication skills.

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Production, Industrial, Mechatronics).

• 1–5 years of experience in automobile / heavy vehicle manufacturing (Freshers with good technical knowledge can also apply).
